Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of 11+ Mastermind ("the Service"). By creating an account, you agree to them. If a parent or guardian is signing up on behalf of a child under 13, the parent or guardian agrees to these terms on the child's behalf.

Who can use the Service

11+ Mastermind is designed for children aged 8–11 preparing for the 11+ exam. Children under 13 may only use the Service with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Acceptable use

  • Use the Service only for personal, non-commercial learning.
  • Don't try to break, scrape, copy, or resell the question bank.
  • Don't impersonate another person or share your sign-in details.
  • Be kind in any free-text support messages.

Subscriptions and billing

Premium subscriptions are billed by Stripe in GBP. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the current period. Refunds are at our discretion and handled in line with UK consumer law.

Content and intellectual property

All question content, explanations, branding, and software are owned by 11+ Mastermind or its licensors. You retain ownership of any answers and free-text you submit, but you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process them for the purpose of providing the Service (including AI tutoring).

AI tutor

The AI tutor is a learning aid, not a substitute for a human teacher. We do our best to keep responses accurate and age-appropriate, but we can't guarantee that every response is perfect. If you ever see a response that feels wrong or unkind, please tell us via Support.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account if these terms are seriously breached. You may close your account at any time from the Settings page.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that can't be excluded under English law. Subject to that, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
