A parent or guardian registers for the 14-day free website trial. A credit/debit card is required, with all Premium learning features included and no subscription payment today. Stripe checkout shows the exact first-charge date and amount, any eligible promotion and renewal terms before confirmation. Cancel before the trial ends and keep access through it without a charge; otherwise automatic paid billing begins on day 15.
It's built for children aged 7–11 preparing for 11+ grammar school and independent school entrance exams — typically pupils in Years 3–6 in England.
11+ Mastermind works in any modern web browser on a laptop, desktop or tablet, and there are native iOS and Android apps too. Progress syncs across every device your child signs in on.
As the parent or guardian, create your sign-in, explicitly confirm that you manage and consent to your child’s learner account, choose monthly or yearly Premium and complete secure Stripe checkout with a credit/debit card. A sign-in alone does not start the trial or unlock learning. Sign in again to resume enrollment; access starts only after server confirmation. Mobile Premium purchases use your device’s store.

When your child answers a question incorrectly, the AI tutor opens an up-to-4-step Socratic walkthrough that asks guiding questions to lead them to the answer themselves, rather than simply telling them the solution.
Difficulty quietly adjusts to your child's level after every session, moving between Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, so practice is never too easy and never disheartening.
Comprehension questions are based on reading passages that open in a pop-up panel alongside the questions, so your child can refer back to the text while they answer. Comprehension is a Premium feature.
Timed mock tests recreate real exam conditions — choose 30, 40 or 50 questions at one minute per question across multiple subjects. There's no tutor during the mock test, but your child gets a full AI-written review of every wrong answer afterwards.
The Progress page shows accuracy by subject and topic, practice history and trends over time, so you can spot strengths and the areas that need more work at a glance.
Every wrong answer is logged in the mistake tracker, which groups them by topic and generates an AI coach summary plus suggested themed mock tests targeting your child's weakest areas.
Yes. Correct answers earn streaks, points and coins. Coins can be spent in the rewards shop on cosmetic-only unlocks such as avatars and colour themes — there's nothing that affects learning or costs real money.
We comply with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018 and the ICO's Age Appropriate Design Code. We collect only what's needed to run the service, never sell personal data, and never use it for advertising or marketing profiling. Full details are in our Privacy Notice.
No. There are no adverts anywhere in 11+ Mastermind, and we never use your child's data for advertising or marketing profiling.
We keep learning data while the account is active. If you delete the account, all personal data is removed within 30 days, except limited financial records we're legally required to keep for 6 years for tax purposes.
Yes. Once signed in you can view a copy of the data we hold, correct it, or delete the account and its personal data instantly from the Settings page. You can also contact us at support@11plusmastermind.com.
New website enrollment is parent-led: the parent or guardian explicitly consents and manages the learner account. On existing child self-registration and native setup paths, under-18s provide a different parent/guardian email and cannot learn until that parent approves.
For existing child self-registration and native setup, the nominated parent or guardian receives an approval link. Until approved, learning stays locked. For new parent-led website enrollment, you declare that you are the parent/guardian managing the learner account, then complete plan review and card checkout.
Yes. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us or by deleting the account from the Settings page, and the account will stop processing your child's data.
Standard website Premium prices are £12.50 per month or £137.50 per year, before any checkout promotion. Eligible website subscriptions include a card-backed 14-day trial. Stripe checkout shows the exact first-charge date and amount, any eligible promotion and renewal terms before you confirm. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid a charge; otherwise paid billing starts on day 15. Existing subscriptions keep their agreed Stripe prices.
Existing free families keep their starter allowances and history, with an optional eligible upgrade. After a cancelled trial ends, the account returns to limited free access and keeps its history. This is not a new website signup plan: new website enrollment requires parent setup and card checkout. Premium unlocks the full question bank, every timed mock test and comprehension passages. Introductory website trials are available only once.
Manage web billing from the Pricing page while signed in. You can cancel your 14-day trial there: access continues until the trial ends, no charge is taken, and the account returns to the free plan. If you cancel a paid subscription, access continues until the end of the current billing period and there are no further subscription charges. App Store and Play Store purchases are managed in your device's store settings.
Existing free accounts use the starter set without a card. For paid subscriptions or a trial that has converted, if something has gone wrong with a charge, email support@11plusmastermind.com and we'll review it in line with consumer law.
Our questions cover the core 11+ skills tested by the main boards — GL Assessment, CEM and ISEB — across Maths, English, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning, so the practice transfers to grammar school entrance exams across England.
Yes. The same core subjects and reasoning skills are tested by most independent (private) school entrance exams, so 11+ Mastermind is good preparation for those as well as grammar schools.
Most regional grammar schools draw on the same underlying skills in Maths, English and reasoning. We focus on building those core skills thoroughly rather than tailoring to a single local format, which makes the practice broadly applicable.
